sea view coffee facilities friendly staff musty hallway cheap pillow missing bulb
the room was a double room sea view it had great views of the coastline. the room included tea and coffee making facilities which was convenient. breakfast had a good choice of cooked options i enjoyed the selection. the staff were friendly they dried my waterproofs after i got caught in a downpour.
the hotel needs some updating the hallway smelled a bit musty. the pillows were not very comfortable they felt quite cheap. one of the bedside lamps was missing a bulb it made reading difficult.

fantastic carlyon bay stay!
convenient parking attentive staff amazing views
i found parking very convenient. staff were attentive, always ready to assist. breakfast was included and very satisfactory. the location offered amazing views and was close to everything. i also appreciated relaxing in the bar each evening after a day of exploration.
my room lacked glasses. there also was no convenient spot in the bathroom to place toiletries. i wish there had been extra hooks or a towel rail available.

the reception staff offered prompt assistance with luggage upon arrival. i noticed restaurant staff were quick to address requests during breakfast. overall, i found the employees polite and helpful . their commitment was evident and i appreciated it.

friendly staff ample storage low water pressure peeling paint
the staff was very friendly and accommodating, i felt very welcome. my room offered plenty of storage space (ideal for longer stays).
the shower had very low water pressure. i also noticed paint peeling off the walls near the door handles (a minor but noticeable issue).

i liked my double room sea view. it had ample car parking space on site. charlestown harbour is a short walk from there.
